Choir sing in front of an old mine at the Dean Heritage Centre

Sing, Laugh, Belong

Discover the joy of singing in harmony with a group of friendly, fun-loving men who share a passion for music. Drybrook Men are not your typical male voice choir. We embrace a wide range of music and pride ourselves on our progressive approach. Join us for our lively Wednesday evening rehearsals and stay for the camaraderie, beer, and chat afterwards. Whether you're an experienced singer or new to choir singing, you'll find a warm welcome and a place to belong.

Who are we?

The Drybrook Male Voice Choir has been a much-loved part of the Forest of Dean community since 1948. Our choir is made up of around fifteen members who come from all over the area to sing together every Wednesday evening under the direction of our talented musical director, Simon Andrewes. We rehearse in our Drybrook rehearsal room from 7.30pm - 9.15pm, and then enjoy some social time in our on-site bar. Come join us for an evening of stirring music and company!

"This Is My Choir"

We recently went into the Berry Hill recording studios to film "This Is My Choir" - a song which reflects the enjoyment we get from being part of Drybrook Men. With words adapted by choir member James Leedam from the song "This Is My Cornwall", we hope this will encourage others to come and join us.

Our recent performances

We love getting out in front of an audience. We are regularly invited to perform, and we've recently sung at local music festivals, Coronation celebrations, and concerts, both indoors and outdoors. We're passionate about singing and bring our energy and enthusiasm to all our appearances.
